Welcome to Sandi Land South Florida!

Welcome to Sandi Land South Florida!

From the “only in Florida” files….lots of sand + the holidays = an amazing display!

As we have reported for the past couple of years about this time, whether you are looking to make South Florida your permanent home, or are planning a seasonal residency, one cannot help but feel festive with the project by the good folks in West Palm Beach to attract global tourists to our area.  So what do South Floridians actually DO with 600 tons of sand for the holidays?

Why we create Sandi Holiday Tree of course!  The sand has been delivered, and Team Sandtastic has once again constructed, “The world’s only 35-foot Christmas tree made of 600 tons of sand at the West Palm Beach waterfront.”

What’s more is that you too can now “follow” Sandi Holiday Tree on Twitter® by clicking here.  Moreover, keep up with all the events at Sandi Land by clicking here.

According to West Palm Beach Magazine® the tree lighting ceremony took place December 1, 2016, 6 – 10 p.m. Tourists and locals alike will get have an opportunity to get their “holiday cheer on” at West Palm Beach’s Waterfront and adjacent Clematis Street and CityPlace entertainment districts.  Tens of thousands of revelers will enjoy the show and holiday displays, including the Sandi Holiday Tree – a huge Christmas tree sculpted form sand and lighted.  Using special laser lights and music, the tree will come to life with amazing colors and textures.

Finally, the folks at Lightning Videos sum it up, “Sandi the world’s only 35-foot tall, 600 ton giant holiday sand tree sings and dances to the synchronized lights & music.  Only in West Palm Beach Florida…..paradise found.” Directions: Address:  101 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL  33401.  From I-95 exit east onto Okeechobee Boulevard.  Travel east on Okeechobee until you reach Quadrille Boulevard.  Turn left (north) onto Quadrille Boulevard and proceed north until you arrive at Clematis Street.  At Clematis Street make a right (east) and continue east past Olive Avenue to the West Palm Beach Waterfront.  The Waterfront is located at the end of Clematis Street along Flagler Drive.
