Water Pointe Realty Group is pleased to announce that Cristina de la Vega has joined the team at the Sewall’s Point office.
A 40 year resident of the Treasure Coast, Cristina offers a unique and multifaceted perspective of the area through raising a family and being involved in local business and volunteer activities.
Cristina de la Vega emigrated from Cuba in 1961 and grew up in Palm Beach County. In 1978, she relocated to the Treasure Coast which she now calls home. Cristina and her husband, Kenny Strong, raised their three children in Martin County. Now, they have
four grandchildren, two who reside locally. They believe in planting roots deep into their community. Cristina studied fine arts and painting. She has a keen eye for design and detail which has led to her interest in real estate. With her husband, she has designed, built, and renovated several homes in the area. Their current project is a 1926 Spanish Colonial style home in Historic Downtown Stuart.
Well known artist and active member of the arts community, Cristina has been involved in local projects including the annual Helping People Succeed calendar and Martin County Open Studio Tour, this award winning artist is held in high regard by her community. In 2009, she was chosen as “Florida Hispanic Artist of the Year’. Cristina will put that same discerning eye, enthusiasm for real estate, and deep knowledge of our community to work for her clients.
